The 12 signs of the zodiac are split into four ‘element’ groupings of fire, water, earth and air. In our first of four parts, we decided to have some fun and consider what a standard WATER element event planner would be like if they followed some of the key attributes given by astrologers.

Forget reasoning; in your watery world event planning is more about intuition. You let your heart make a lot of the decision-making and have an almost psychic ability to see trouble before it happens. You don’t need a list of instructions or guidelines to make things work out well, you can ‘flow’ off the emotional responses you naturally have. This is so valuable when trying to manage the numerous and varied relationships involved in the event planning process never mind during the always dynamic occasion itself. Knowing just how to react in an awkward situation is what makes people love to have you in control and you’ll never leave someone unconsidered.
Of course, it’s not all roses in the water garden. Because you commendably strive to put the needs of your attendees and contributors ahead of your own, things can start to pile up quickly. And this can make finding a healthy working balance somewhat challenging. If, for example, the ideal speaker that you’d carefully arranged to come pulls out at the last minute, you’ll just have to move onto Plan B, no matter how disappointing. For you water personalities this isn’t too easy although fortunately experience has taught you well how to deal with such adversities.
