Almost perfect..but 1 rogue reception member almost spoils it
Excellent location, good breakfast, fine rooms, friendly staff, all good. What a shame that our first impression was so bad, when we could not reach our room. The firedoor was locked and the doorhandle broken. We told a receptionist and he (you know who you are) came up to look and dismissed us: I told you there had been a firedrill. And left us with our suitcases at the locked and broken firedoor. We eventually located some people who had something to do with the firedrill and they managed to unlock the foredoor, allowing us access to the part of the hotel where our room was located. We travel a lot, but have never encountered a member of staff who SO excuded 'I could not care less'. However, the rest of our stay was good.
