The hotel is very clean, neat and, quit. Breakfast is questionable, high price, omelette with sugar and, watered down coffee. Excellent and very helpful front disk personal. Room air-conditioning is uncontrollable niether in room temp nor in fan speed. So, the only choice is ON or Off 24hrs

We liked the location of the hotel, the staff was very friendly and hotel was clean. Breakfast could be better. No vegetables served at breakfast, only tiny portion of salad. However, we still recommend this hotel for your stay in Barcelona.

We stayed at this hotel in Barcelona as it had a reasonable price. As we checked in the front desk staff was very welcoming and provided us with a map as well so that we know where we were. We had a room facing the street and the Music festival had a musical dj playing across the street. The music ended in the evening so it did not bother us. The breakfast was also very good and which included lactose free milk which was much appreciated. The location is not in the tourist area but it is close to the Plaça de les Glòries Catalanes. The rooms are well kept and clean. We were able to get a good sleep. There is a small Chinese restaurant on a small street not far from the hotel when you leave the hotel make a right and keep walking about 5 mins or so.

Clean hotel with nice size rooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They served a good breakfast and the hotel is nicely located close to bus, metro and city locations. I can highly recommend to stay at this hotel.

We booked one standard room for 2 adults and a child for a 4 day stay during Christmas. I’d like to mention that the price was way better on the hotel site than via booking. Although standard room, we were surprised to see the room was spacious enough for all three of us ( including the bathroom), beds, including the separate one for my kid, very comfortable. Staff very nice. Very clean, I appreciated that every day. We booked without breakfast ( not our focus) and the restaurant was closed during our stay, so I couldn’t comment here. Location is 3 metro short stops from Catalunya, metro stop is Marina, L1, you get there from the hotel in about 10 min by walking. We enjoyed our stay at NH Diagonal and we think we might choose it again for our next visit in Barcelona. Thank you, NH Diagonal, you are doing a great job!

Pros: Good location Good staff Cons Rooms are not cleaned properly , lots of dust,ect Expect that you will have to change rooms, they have issues with there showers Breakfast, they dont really server hot food (but there are alot of options)

The room was clean however it was in desperate need of refurbishment (damaged walls, shower coming off the wall, table top covered in scratches etc). I was assigned a connecting room which made the last night very noisy and, when I requested a pair of slippers I have been told with a harsh no that I could not have them as they were only for superior rooms. There were only 3 plugs in the whole room (not enough for 2 people!) And they had no other solution - even when I asked if I could leave my device at reception to charge they told me they could not guarantee it was safe or it would actually get charged. The position was alright, the overall service was hit and miss - the check in was friendly and so was the gentleman who took our bags the last day (first person to actually smile and make a joke!). I appreciated the little sweets for my birthday, thank you! For the location and the price it's ok, but a few things can be improved.

Hotel is good basic quality, but it is too far from city center. Neighborhood is semi-industrial. If in business, ok, but not for leisure. Daytime staff friendlyand efficient, nightime staff do not know what the word guest means, a reflection of the neighborhood perhaps.
