The Usva by Terhen Spa & Wellness is inspired by traditional Finnish treatments, the northern nature, and the cycle of the seasons. This tranquil oasis in the heart of the city offers experiences that promote holistic well-being and mental balance.

The wellness center includes a unique sauna section where guests can experience rituals based on the therapeutic effects of hot and cold, DIY treatments, and day spa treatments and massages inspired by Finnish nature and traditional healing practices.

Beyond the spa, USVA is home to a comprehensive gym. As a USVA Wellness Club member, you’ll have 24/7 access to state-of-the-art fitness facilities and personalized wellness services designed to elevate your body, mind and soul.

Opening hours: 

Monday - Saturday: 10 am – 8 pm
Sunday 10 am – 6 pm
Saunas: Every day 6 am – 10 am and 8 pm – 10 pm

  • Spa access is included in selected room categories. If spa access is not included in your room type, the price for hotel guests is €25.
  • Entrance fee for the spa is €39 per person/day for non-hotel guests.
  • Children 1-16 years of age are welcomed to the morning and evening saunas (6 am- 10 am and 8 pm – 10 pm)
  • Children under 16 must be supervised by an adult at all times.

What’s in the spa?

The spa features a Finnish sauna, a steam room, a cold therapy pool and cold mist showers. Enjoy the warm and cold therapy and relax on the comfortable lounge area or heated beds. There are also four treatment rooms where guests can book full body therapeutical massages, body scrubs or facial beauty treatments. Discover the roots of Finnish well-being with indulgent Mini Retreats and DIY-treatments.

Perfect staycation

Beautifully refurbished hotel. The room was very cozy, quiet, and the lighting options were great. Room amenities were excellent. The drinks and atmosphere at the Kupoli Bar were fantastic, and the Hansa Café bar was also very inviting and buzzing with activity; the addition of a DJ was a good idea. The breakfast room was very beautiful. During check-in, we requested a room with a view, and we received it, so we really appreciated that. We tried the online check-out, and it was very convenient.

Best hotel! Friendly staff

Very nice rooms, but also the staff made the stay so much nicer than an "ordinary" hotel! All the staff i met mad all they could to make my trip a nicer one!

Beautiful hotel, fully renovated, great location

Fabulous experience at the Grand Hansa. Luxurious rooms, with all the modern amenities you can imagine. Great beds. Fabulous breakfast. Good bars!
