Hotel offers a bar and concierge service which is nice. Also provide wash cloths which isn’t common in Europe. Some of the staff were just ok, while others were better. Ok price for what you get, everything was about 30 minute walk. A few things within 10 minutes.
Excellent location, hotel a bit outdated and needs refusrbishing. Elevators are real pain. The rest is good, staff, breakfast etc. It is very close to Vatican, Tiber, Piazza del popolo, Navona, Spanish square..
The NH Collection Roma Centro is located close to a underground station. And in 15 minutes you can reach the Vatican or the Engelsburg (walking). Around the hotel you could find several bars and restaurants. The breakfast offers all what you need to start in the day. Our room in the 5th floor was bright and friendly furnished. The beds were large and rather soft. We like the standards from NH Hotels
Our family stayed in two adjoining rooms which were both spacious and clean. The hotel's location was great for sightseeing and the breakfast was very good. The hotel seemed to cater to business travellers. The only downside was the rooms' A/C didn't do much. We opened windows, which did help the temperature. However, it let in cigarette smoke which must have been pretty strong since we were on the 5th floor.
NH sent me from another hotel to Roma Centro. Therefor giving me additional costs for taxis as I had chosen the other hotel because of location to the office. After several questions they paid my taxi that evening, other days I paid it myself. Room was average, just good. No warm water in the evening under the shower, maybe because of the number of guests in the hotel? Breakfast was good. I think they increased prices in the bar substantially as the room information (QR code) gave much lower prices for the drinks in the bar than in reality (glass of wine 10 euro?)
