Good Hotel, Friendly staff, Good breakfast, Good location for centre, Only stayed for 2 night's would return to this hotel. Stayed half board evening menu limited, Off street parking in under ground garage (Staff will park your car which is good as it is a one way system but hotel is easy to find.) Room very nice but plug kept dropping into bath when having a shower. (not really a problem)
I stay at the NH fairly regularly due to my job & have never had any reason to complain regarding service in fact one 2 separate occasions the staff have gone above and beyond to be very helpful & accommodating. 1. I was taken sick during my visit, the staff accommodated me by making me food not on the menu upon my request to make me feel better & extended my check-out time to which ever time was convenient for me so that I could continue to rest. 2. On a subsequent visit I left my purse in a restaurant located within a department store the night before & I only realised the purse was missing the following morning when checking-out to go to the airport to catch my flight home which also turned out to be a national holiday in Vigo so the department store was not opening that day! The staff sprung into action called around to see if they could track down the missing purse somehow when most places were closed. They waived my hotel bill on trust that I would pay them when back home or when I find my purse. I went to the airport thinking it's impossible to find the purse on a national holiday but the staff kept in touch & managed to locate it & deliver it to me at the airport fully intact & everything still in the purse & in time for my flight. I can not praise the staff enough for all their help and understanding, I highly recommend the NH and want to commend Saray & Marcos especially for the amazing service & I am truly indebted to them for tracking, securing & delivering my purse to me before I flew out of their city!
Service excellent from all staff. Especially Mr Marcos customer relations manager and waitresses at breakfast very friendly and helpful. Parking was easy using reception staff to park and retrieve car when required.
Close to port and marina, restaurants, banks, access road to city, easy to leave for other destination, kind staff, elegant, pristine establishment, carefully restored historic building with nice art on walls
The room was cleaned daily to a high standard. Staff were very helpful. I needed a suit pressed when I arrived at 19.00hrs for the next morning. A lady from housekeeping collected my suit and had it returned by 20.30hrs.
Stayed for 4 nights recently on city break.Hotel is very well located,airport bus takes c.25 mins.to stop approx 250 metres away.We had a small suite which was lovely,it had a balcony overlooking the Avenida Garcia Barbon one of the main streets.Everything worth seeing and any transport links are within walking distance of the hotel.It has a small bar and limited dining room but there's loads to choose from in the neighbourhood.This hotel is all about the accommodation and service.
Number 9 bus from the airport leaves you outside this very impressive looking hotel. Check in was the best I have experienced ,both informative about local attractions and friendly. I was experiencing problems with a ferry booking I had made from home for a trip to Cies Island, the help I received from the lady at reception desk, phone calls to operator etc., was exceptional.She is a great credit to this hotel. The room was a good size, and spotless. We had an inside room, with no view. The next time we return, and we will, I will pay the extra for a street view. The area around the hotel has numerous restaurants, and the main shopping street is a five minute walk away.The port area and the oldtown are within comfortable walking distance. An excellent stay in a wonderfull location. Highly recomended.
Stayed one night here in May 2016 ( returning from week's walk on Camino). The hotel is centrally located and rooms etc are all finished to a very high standard. Breakfast was great and staff very friendly and professional.
