Reviews: NH Madrid Barajas Airport

The hotel facilities are in very good condition, mainly the swimming pool which is used a lot this summer. The attention of the hotel staff is very courteous and friendly, the quality of the food in the restaurant is exquisite. Very good place to spend these days of rest.

For a hotel close to the Barajas Airport, the NH Barajas Hotel is my first choice. The staff is friendly and efficient, the rooms are comfortable, with a desk large enough for computer work, and the bed is especially comfortable. Best of all is the restaurant - a very good breakfast buffet, and dinner is always excellent. I have stayed here more than once, and I shall return on my next visit to Madrid.

This hotel is not just convenient to the Barajas hotel. It is also easy walking distance to several beautiful parks and green areas along with being near several very good restaurants, a pharmacy and food store. So if your scheduling permits, you can relax and prepare for the next phase of your journey. The hotel provides free shuttle service between the airport and the hotel with convenient scheduling. The staff is both attentive and helpful making check-in and check-out a breeze. The rooms are ample and well laid out with some of the most comfortable beds we have experienced. The breakfast buffet is complete - eggs, meats, fruits, cereals, yougurts, breads, cheeses, juices, coffee and more. Clean environment and attentive staff. The restaurant also has a very nice assortment of dishes, a little something for everyone. Highly recommend this hotel. We will definitely be staying here again for any of our travels out of Madrid by air. Easy taxi from Chamartin train station. From Atocha station you can take the metro to the airport and utilize the hotel shuttle or a taxi for the short ride to the hotel.

The proximity to the airport is incredibly convenient, and what's even better is that there's a complimentary shuttle service that operates hourly, eliminating the need for any coordination with the hotel staff. While the hotel may be a bit of a distance from downtown, you can rest assured that the surrounding area is extremely safe, and there's an abundance of transportation options right at your fingertips for added convenience.

Friendly staff, efficient service. Rooms small but clean. Free shuttle to airport. Quiet environment with nearby park for walking and two grocery stores. Nice breakfast buffet also affordable and restaurant open from 8 PM to midnight. If you are vegetarian, there are two options on the menu; otherwise also a Chinese restaurant nearby that serves veggie options. Restaurants open at 8 PM for dinner.

The NH Barajas Aeropuerto hotel is a hotel with a magnificent location in relation to the Barajas International Airport. It is located approximately 10 minutes from terminal 1 and between 15 to 20 minutes from terminals 2 and 4 of the airport. The hotel provides free shuttle service from the hotel to the airport. The closest metro station to the hotel is a 5-minute walk away and is called the "Capricho" station. The same metro line (line 5) takes us to the center of Madrid and leaves us at the stations of "la gran via" and "la opera" in mandrid. It is approximately 20 minutes of time that this route takes. The location of the hotel is really very convenient to go to the center of Madrid and be close to the airport

Hotel is fine, clean. We lost so much time waiting for the shuttle, watching all other hotels passing twice. Some even three times in over an hour at the airport
