From  Aeropuerto Internacional de Carrasco, NH Columbia is accessible by bus, rental car, or taxi.

By car

From North:   
Take Route 5 to Route 1.
Take a right onto route 1 and head straight ahead. This will take you into the city center and directly to the NH Columbia.
 
From South:
Take Route 1 and head straight ahead. This will take you into the city center and directly to the NH Columbia.
 
From West:
Take Route 3 to Route 1.
Take a right onto route 1 and head straight ahead. This will take you into the city center and directly to the NH Columbia.
 
From East (Aeropuerto Internacional de Carrasco):
Take Viaducto a Interbalnearea y Ruta 101 to Avenida De Las Américas.
Follow Avenida De Las Américas to Avenida Italia.
Briefly turn onto Boulevard General Artigas then follow Avenida 18 De Julio to Plaza Independencia.
Take the fifth turn off the plaza to Florida.
Turn right onto Rambla Gran Bretaña
NH Columbia is two blocks ahead on the right.

Great location within walking distance of major attractions at Ciudad Vieja and right next to the Rambla on the shore line. Breakfast with a view. You can rent bikes at the front desk. Rooms are spacious and have a view of the Rio de la Plata.

in general a nice hotel in a nice location, close to downtown, historical centre and port. good meal and services available, like gim at 9th floor or car parking. compliment also to the personnel, Always available.

Another time in NH Columbia Montevideo

It is not my first time in this hotel and was good as usual. Montevideo is a very nice place with a very kind population, many restaurants with excelents foods and beverages. I recommend the city and the hotel.
