With NH Hotels, you’ll be able to enjoy this wonderful coast while you stay in one of its most luxurious boutique hotels: Anantara Convento di Amalfi Grand Hotel.

The luxury hotel Anantara Convento di Amalfi Grand Hotel owes its name to the fact that it was previously a 13th-century monastery. It has now been restored, respecting the main spaces, to give it a feeling of modernity which combines with all the history of the Italian coast.

Situated at the peak of an 80-meter-high cliff in Amalfi, it is just a 5-minute walk from the Port of Amalfi and the city’s historical center. Its privileged location and comfortable amenities make it one of the most convenient and best hotels in the Amalfi Coast.

Many of the hotel’s rooms have sea views, and they are decorated in a modern and minimalist style, with air conditioning and free Wi-Fi access, to make your stay is as pleasant as possible. The hotel also has 2 restaurants: Kyushu offers fusion-style cooking by chef Julián Mármol, who combines Japanese food with Mediterranean flavors, while the second, La Locanda, is ideal for savoring an outdoor lunch.

What to see in the Amalfi Coast?

The delightful town of Amalfi is filled with attractions. Thanks to its picturesque streets, gorgeous views of the sea, the majestic architecture of the Duomo di Sant'Andrea, and the fascinating Museo della Carta (about the town’s historic paper-making industry), a visit to the town of Amalfi will not fail to impress.

The seaside town of Positano is similarly lovely, featuring the 13th-century Santa Maria Assunta church, popular beaches like the Marina Grande beach and the Fornillo beach, as well as several charming shops and art galleries.

The Path of the Gods is the Amalfi Coast’s most popular hiking trail. Spanning around 8 km between the villages of Bomerano and Nocelle, it offers exquisite point of views into the region’s stunning scenery, including the sea and the coastal towns unfolding below it.

The Grotta dello Smeraldo, located close to the village of Conca dei Marini, is not to be missed. It’s an impressive marine cave whose waters appear to change color in the sunlight, providing visitors with some spectacular views.

The Viera sul Mare village offers a living glimpse into the ancient art of ceramics. It features several ceramic shops, breathtakingly colorful, along with the Museum of Ceramics and the Solimene Ceramics Factory, which you can visit. These and the village’s beaches and beautiful tiled streets make Viera sul Mare a joy to visit. The gorgeously sandy Maiori Beach, the largest beach in the Amalfi Coast, features many cafés and kiosks in its boardwalk. It’s also near several sea caves, which you can visit after renting a boat. It’s great fun when visiting with the entire family.
