How to arrive in Tenerife?
The busiest international airport serving Tenerife is the Tenerife South Airport (TFS), also known as the Tenerife South–Reina Sofía Airport, located in Granadilla de Abona, around 60 kilometers southwest of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. There are several transportation options available right at the airport to help you reach your destination in Tenerife. These include buses, shuttles, taxis, and car rental services.
Alternative ways of arriving in Tenerife include the smaller Tenerife North Airport (TFN) located in San Cristóbal de La Laguna or by ferry either to Santa Cruz de Tenerife or Los Cristianos.
How to get around in Tenerife?
Renting a car from one of the several available companies is one of the best ways of conveniently reaching Tenerife’s many attractions, including its beaches and parks. Parking, whether at free parking spaces or paid parking services, is available throughout Tenerife. Two toll-free motorways (the TF1 and the TF5) connect almost the entire island.
