Puebla has many amazing museums, including the Amparo Museum (which chronicles Mexico’s history starting with pre-Columbian times) and the International Museum of the Baroque. The Parian Market, an arts and crafts market featuring authentic Talavera pottery, is a great display of Puebla’s traditions and sits close to the Artist Quarter and its many art galleries and cafés.

Santiago de Chile

This month is also when the colorful Carnaval Andino takes place, with all its dances and musical performances.

Every February since 1978 the city hosts the Berlin International Film Festival, one of the biggest film festivals in the world.
