As it’s a functional palace used for events, the building is only open to the public for a limited period each year, which is normally when the King and Queen are away on holiday and royal duties are on standby. Ordinarily, the palace is open from late July to early September. Not all rooms are accessible to the public, but many of the most interesting and ornate ones are, and it’s well worth visiting if you’re in Brussels during this time.
