The 10 Corso Como Experience

This street's highlight is perhaps 10 Corso Como, a concept store designed by the maverick American artist Kirs Ruhs. The complex packs a punch as it houses an art gallery, a bookshop, a design and fashion store, a micro hotel with three rooms and the popular in-house café. Milanese often head here for post-dinner drinks and aperitivos. The bookshop stocks various publications and coffee table books on photography, art, architecture, literature, design, graphics and fashion. Fashionistas will love the design collection that includes jewellery, shoes, leather products, bags, perfumes and more.

Eat at Eataly

The Eataly slow food company has its flagship store right by the Porta Volta gate. This is where gourmands from all over the world converge to buy fresh seafood, meat, fruits and vegetables that can be either cooked here or taken home. Here, one can gorge on bio pizzas as well as attending food conferences and concerts. Restaurants within the store serve various delicacies so be sure to stop by if peckish. In walking distance from Eataly lies the High Tech Store, which is housed inside a gorgeous 19th century building and stocks everything from office stationery to housewares and furniture.
Corso Como is one of Milan's best and most visited streets, and well worth a visit. Additionally, it is a great option for romantic dinners, lingering aperitivos and leisurely strolls. Visit for a slice of Milanese glamour.
