The location of the hotel is great, apart from the square being very noisy at night until about 4:30am. Real shame because the hotel itself and the staff were great. If the square was quiet at night, I would give full marks for location and sleep quality obviously suffered too due to this. I feel bad for marking the hotel down for these reasons.
i'll not book this hotel if I go to AMS again because the elevator cannot take travellers to each floor. The elevator cannot go to the floors including the rooms like 417, 418, 217, 218, 317, 318 , etc.
I had a great experience at the NH Amsterdam Schiller. The hotel is located in an excellent spot, making it very convenient for exploring the city. The room was clean, and the air conditioning worked well, ensuring a comfortable stay. However, the beds were two singles pushed together, which might not be ideal for couples. The food was delicious, but the restocking was a bit slow. For example, the cocoa powder ran out and wasn't refilled for two days, so anyone wanting hot chocolate couldn't have it. Still, the taste and quality of the food were great. One downside is that the city tax is relatively high. Overall, though, it was a very pleasant stay, and I would recommend it!
