DINNERS AT OLOF’S

People normally dine in restaurants. However, if you need to cater for a large number of people, e.g. for a special occasion, you can definitely come to Olof's. Culinary inspiration comes from Chris Naylor’s kitchen, and the wine experts of our Awarded Restaurant Vermeer help to complete the gastronomic experience. 

As far as layout is concerned we can of course arrange anything, from round or long tables (up to 250 guests) to standing buffets for 400 guests at a time. The chapel is also particularly suitable for a smaller, more intimate group of, say, 30 guests. We can create a unique atmosphere by placing the table centrally and adjusting the lighting. We'll decide on the menu together so that it suits the occasion, the group and dietary requirements.

Vermeer at Olof's

Do you prefer really fine dining and a gastronomic experience? If so, Olof’s has something quite spectacular in store for you with the collaboration of our Awarded Restaurant Vermeer. We even serve Vermeer's culinary and specialty dishes and wines to groups of up to 250 guests! Of course, like Restaurant Vermeer, we only use the best seasonal ingredients which we buy from local suppliers as much as possible. For example, some vegetables and herbs are grown on the roof of the NH Barbizon Palace hotel.

Food festival

Although there have always been festivals, these have really taking off over the past few years. We welcome the increase in food festivals and food markets since these can give guests the opportunity to enjoy a wide choice of delicacies from food and beverage specialists. Together with local partners, we can also provide such an experience at Olof’s. We can easily roll in cocktail bars and mobile coffee trucks, supplemented with musical accompaniment and comfortable seats or lounge furniture.

Cocktail bar

Are cocktails and gin and tonic the current trend? In 2016 we turned our gallery into a trendy cocktail bar for the first time for the pop-up restaurant Roomservice. Run by experienced cocktail shakers, our bar was immediately declared the most creative hotel bar in Amsterdam. If required, we would be happy to get this bar up again, with a sublime cocktail menu, for events. A refreshing mojito or a classic Negroni on the gallery is always a good idea, before people sit down to a special dinner or before the kick-off of a fantastic party.
