Weddings at Olof's

The most beautiful dress and the perfect “I do” deserve an amazing reception, a delicious dinner and the most romantic night. At Olof’s, you can celebrate your wedding day at a unique location in whatever way you wish – from understated to exuberant, from intimate to grandiose. The Olof's Chapel is part of NH Collection Amsterdam Barbizon Palace and is located opposite Central Station in Amsterdam.

Unique location

Olof’s Chapel dates from the 15th century, which makes it the oldest chapel in Amsterdam. It is also a unique official wedding location thanks to its exceptional location in the heart of Amsterdam’s iconic city centre, just a stone’s throw from Central Station.

Ceremony

Olof’s is an official wedding location so it’s the perfect place for a romantic ceremony. And a wonderful backdrop for your wedding photographs!

Reception

Would you like to hold your reception on the chapel balcony? You can cut the wedding cake there and receive everybody’s congratulations. We'd be happy to help you source the right wedding cake, while champagne towers, chocolate fountains and ice sculptures are also possible options.

Overnight stay

Olof’s is part of the hotel NH Collection Amsterdam Barbizon Palace, which means you don’t need to book a different location for your wedding night. The hotel has wonderful rooms and suites for you and your guests.

Party

Olof’s can accommodate a maximum of 520 guests. And since we can divide the space practically but stylishly, we can also make it really intimate for smaller groups.

Restaurant Vermeer

The Vermeer cuisine is characterized by passion and ambition. Run by Sebastian Baquero Garces, the restaurant’s experienced team serves a varied and interesting menu. As many ingredients as possible are purchased locally and a selection of the vegetables and herbs are grown in the roof garden of the affiliated NH Collection Barbizon Palace hotel. Bjorn van Aalst and Simon Veldman offer a selection of matching wines.

Dinner

Do you want to eat at one long table, or would you prefer several tables or a walking dinner? We can arrange an elaborate menu that includes the specialties of our chefs. Needless to say, we can also cook your favorite dishes for you. You can dine with all your guests at Olof’s, or you can choose to eat with a smaller group in our Vermeer restaurant.
