In most of our hotels in Central Europe, the matches will be broadcast live in the hotel bar. Munich: Where tradition meets football excitement

UEFA EURO 2024 kicks off in Munich on Friday, June 14th. With its rich history and vibrant atmosphere, Munich is the perfect stage for the tournament. Don't miss the chance to experience public viewing at the Olympiapark, where you can watch all the matches live on a big screen by the Olympic Lake.

Explore iconic landmarks such as Marienplatz and the stunning architecture of the New Town Hall/Neues Rathaus. The Fußball Arena in Munich will host six exciting matches during the tournament. To get to the stadium from the city centre, jump on the U6 underground line, which takes about 20 minutes.

Munich is home to several Minor Hotel Group hotels, including the NH Collection München Bavaria, located next to the main railway station, München Hauptbahnhof. It has excellent public transport connections to the Fußball Arena München, just 30 minutes away. From the Hauptbahnhof underground stop, head to Sendlinger Tor and from there take the U-Bahn line U6 towards Fröttmaning, which is the closest stop to the Allianz Arena.

If you want to stay in the city centre, we also recommend our NH München Unterhaching, which is also very close to points of interest such as Maaerienplatz and Maximilianstrasse, where you will find the most prestigious designer shops. It is also very close to Freibad Unterhaching, an outdoor swimming pool ideal for relaxing on hot days. To get to the Fußball Arena München, you can either drive 30 minutes or take the S3 from Unterhaching to Marienplatz, and from there take the U6 towards Frötmaning.

If you're looking for something a bit quieter to refuel between match and match centre, the option is to stay at the NH München Ost Conference Center, which is about 9 km from the football stadium. You could easily reach it by car in about 20 minutes, or take public transport, line S2 at Riem station, and then transfer to line U6 at Marienplatz to Fröttmaning.

Hamburg: Where football meets maritime charm

Situated on the banks of the River Elbe, Hamburg welcomes football fans with open arms. The Volksparkstadion Hamburg, which will host several EURO 2024 matches, is a beacon for sports fans.

While you are here, soak up the city's maritime charm by exploring the historic Speicherstadt and strolling along the picturesque Landungsbrücken. Dine on fresh seafood at the bustling Fish Market or immerse yourself in art at the Hamburger Kunsthalle. To get to the stadium from the city centre, take the S3 suburban train, which takes around 40 minutes.

Berlin: Where football history will be made

The championship culminates in the grand final in Berlin on Sunday 14th July. The historic Olympic Stadium/Olympiastadion sets the stage for this momentous occasion. Throughout the tournament, parts of the city centre will be transformed into a huge public viewing festival, known locally as the Fanmeile.

Explore Berlin's rich history by visiting the Brandenburg Gate, the Berlin Wall Memorial and the East Side Gallery, or the vibrant districts of Kreuzberg and Friedrichshain. To get to Olympiastadion from the city centre, take the S-Bahn line S3 and S9, which takes around 30 minutes.
