In recent years, this famous attraction has consciously departed from providing visitors with a sedate experience viewing waxwork figures to something more animated, with multimedia effects. Located in the historic Dam Square, Madame Tussauds is easy to locate. It is a mere ten minute walk from Central Station and trams 4,9,14, 16, 24 and 25 will also get you there - simply alight at Dam Station.
If you want to make a day of it, it is worth looking into combination tickets for entry to Madame Tussaud and the Amsterdam Dungeons or the Rijksmuseum. As well as landing a good deal on the entry price, you can secure fast track entry, meaning you can avoid the typically lengthy queues.
Go early in the morning to avoid the rush and to take some selfies with your favourite stars!
